After The Observatory,
photographs by Louise Lawler and catalogue by Bob
Nickas published by the Paula Cooper Gallery;
October 2 - November 15, 2003
The photographs were taken during the installation
and de-installation of the exhibition From The Observatory
curated by Bob Nickas. The exhibition, which
took place at the Paula Cooper Gallery in the spring
of 2002, included works by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein,
Yayoi Kusama, Diane Arbus and Olafur Eliasson, among
others. Louise Lawler’s work is accompanied
by a selection of titles, both in and out of print.
